Useful information for Watch Buyers
Please read the following carefully regarding the purchase of watches.
The descriptive sheet of the watches shows the general state of conservation and any restorations, and is provided for guidance and is not exhaustive and in no case should it be considered a "Guarantee".
The same applies to any Condition Report requested by the buyer.
The lots are sold in the specific conditions of how they are displayed, being mechanical constructions they may, over the years, have undergone interventions aimed at their maintenance.
International Art Sale srl assumes no responsibility regarding the state of operation, restorations or replaced parts. The buyer is required to carefully view the lots in the days preceding the sale and ask for clarifications on the matter from the expert.
No claim will be accepted after the award, therefore this information is considered to be read, as per Regulation: Conditions of sale Art. 17.
The straps and bracelets are to be considered non-original, unless expressly specified in the description.
Waterproof watches have been opened to check their originality and general condition, therefore water resistance is no longer guaranteed. We recommend checking with your trusted watchmaker.
Please note that the importation, in some countries, of materials from endangered species is regulated by the CITES Regulations.
For watches with a quartz movement, no information regarding perfect functioning is provided.
