Note: The Constellation was introduced in 1952, the name wastaken from Astronomy but also from the popular civilian aircraft of the early1950s. The model was introduced in Steel, rose and yellow gold with differentlevel of finishing and was the top end of Omega watches. Reference 2700 marks the first appearance of the famed “Pie Pan” dial. Distinguished byits contrasting polished and brushed finishes, inclined rim and dodecahedralcenter, the “Pie Pan” is considered among the most iconic dials of the period.
