Fill levels: 1 (3 bts); 2 (1 bt)
Historically the most famous rosé wine in Italy, made from Negroamaro and Malvasia nera grapes. First rosé to be bottled in Italy, in 1943, named Five Roses in honor of the American general Charles Poletti, who bought it in crates to bring it to the USA. The name derives from the farm where the grapes were grown, the feud of the Cinque Roses, in turn so called because for several generations the Leone De Castris family had five children.
